Creating a Goals Reminder System

Creating a Goals Reminder System

You become 42% more likely to achieve your goals and dreams, simply by writing them down on a regular basis.” – Dr. Gail Matthews, a psychology professor at the Dominican University in California——–After a Forum meeting, the Goals Keeper should immediately send out an email with the goals each person committed to (See Image). This email acts as a visual reminder to each person (and each other) what was committed to in the meeting.

But then I use a tool called FollowUpThen.com to send the same email again to everyone in the group 2 weeks later. FollowUpThen.com does this automatically so you just set it and forget it.

By doing a mid-month follow-up email, people are once again reminded of what they committed to in the meeting which increases their chances of getting them done.

Life gets in the way and sometimes we need a quick reminder to get back on track. Writing down your Forum’s goals and then sharing those goals via email two times (or more) per month with each other is a great way to keep your Forum members on track.
